PROGRAM STARTS AT 5pm

So many of our children are unjustly taken from loving homes and put in foster care because of poverty, racism and profiling, given heavy psychotropic drugs and institutionalized for being sad or rebellious, or falsely imprisoned. Many are separated from parents detained by Immigration, wrongly convicted, or serving long sentences for minor crimes.

Most women in prison are mothers, in for crimes of poverty or as a result of domestic violence. They are prevented from breastfeeding their children and are often placed far away from their children, making visits all but impossible and unaffordable.
