When I heard about the march from Philly to Harrisburg, I knew that this was something that I had to be a part of, I knew that I had to walk.  Education, Social Services, and Health Care are definitely things that the women need whom I was incarcerated with They are also the things that the women need outside the walls.  I’m marching for all of them.

Marching with Decarcerate PA, became a no brainer!!!!

I was once one of those women waiting for help to come that never came, and in coming home I could see why. Change needs to happen.  My mind says Yes, and my body says NO, but I’ve found this strength that I never knew existed and I keep going, going because those women need help in the forms of programs, health care and education.  I’m walking with Decarcerate PA to all the way to Harrisburg to say to Governor Corbett:   TO INVEST IN EDUCATION NOT INCARCERATION....DECARCERATE PA
