We're always looking for new energy at Decarcerate PA!

The Philly chapter meets every second and fourth monday of the month at 6pm at the Institute for Community Justice at 21 S 12th St in Center City Philadelphia.  Check out our calender for upcoming meeting dates and events.  You can also email us with any questions at decarceratePA@gmail.com or give us a call at (267) 217-3372.

We hold occasional New Member Orientations. These are excellent ways to get in the mix and meet us before coming to one of our extremely dense business meetings.

We are also urging everyone to contact the Governor and your legislators to demand that Pennsylvania stop building new prisons and instead invest in our schools and communities.

You can call Governor Corbett at 717-787-2500
Find contact info for your legislators here: http://guide.seventy.org/#stateOfficials

If you are currently incarcerated, we are always seeking submissions for the “Voices from the Inside” section of our website.  “Voices from the Inside” contains writings from people in prison about why they oppose the prison expansion and what they believe is a positive alternative to building more prisons.
