Legislation we support

No Time Bar for Innocence - Senate Bill 1153 would give people with criminal convictions up to a year to ask for a new trial after discovering new evidence related to their case.

Decarcerate PA supports these bills and encourages similar efforts to reduce Pennsylvania’s prison population.

Contact your legislators and tell them you support the passage of SB1153.  You can find  the contact information for your legislators at:  www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdocs/legis/home/findyourlegislator/
