Join members of Decarcerate PA on Sunday, November 10th for some grassroots outreach in North Philly. We will be talking with people at their homes and on the street about mass incarceration in PA and, among other things, where they would like to see state money go instead of building new prisons like SCI Phoenix 1 and 2.

Meet us at the Center for Returning Citizens (TCRC) at 3850 Germantown Ave at 1 PM for an engaging 30 minute training. Afterwards we will organize ourselves into teams of two and then go out to talk with people, ask them to sign onto our petition calling for an end to mass incarceration in PA and invite them to get involved in the movement. We will end the day at TCRC at 3:30 PM for a 30 minute debrief to chat about the conversations we had, evaluate what went well and what we should change next time around.
