Philly District Attorney for the People Forum

On May 16th, the people of Philadelphia will vote in the primary for our new District Attorney. As you know, the Philly District Attorney has immense power when it comes to policing, incarceration, and sentencing, and this is our chance to vote in a DA who is accountable to us.

We are building a movement to make sure the next District Attorney will support ending death by incarceration and clamp down on police abuse. And we need you to be involved.

Join CADBI and other groups for a Forum for District Attorney candidates on Tuesday, April 18th, from 5:30-8pm at Arch Street United Methodist at 55 N Broad St. (just a block north of City Hall). This is our one chance to publicly pressure candidates about their past actions and hold them accountable to the people of Philly. We will have the chance to ask each candidate direct questions about sentencing, police abuse, bail, and other issues, and see which candidates truly represent our values.
Childcare and Spanish translation are provided, and the space is  wheelchair accessible. Can you join us at this forum to pressure the candidates?

Please spread the word, and let us know if you have any questions. You can get in touch with us by phone at 267-217-3372 or by email at

We hope to see you there!
