Help us get to Harrisburg!

On February 12th, Decarcerate PA and our allies are traveling to Harrisburg to hold a “People’s Hearing” about the impacts of prison expansion in PA. Instead of investing in mass incarceration, we will be demanding investment in education, healthcare, jobs, community-based reentry, and social services. Instead of building more prison cells, we are asking politicians to engage in meaningful sentencing reform to reduce the prison population and bring people home to their families and communities.

But we need your help! Our original goal was to bring two buses of people from Philadelphia. But the movement against mass incarceration in Pennsylvania is growing quickly, and we have already filled up the first two buses and are trying to raise funds to reserve a third one. Please consider making a donation to Decarcerate PA to help make that happen!

You can donate online at http://decarceratepa.info/donate, or by mailing a check to Decarcerate PA, PO Box 40764 Philadelphia, PA 19107.

Decarcerate PA is an all-volunteer organization funded primarily through small donations from people like you. Even $10 or $20 is enough to pay for someone’s seat on the bus.
