Decarcerate PA and YASP discuss opposition to HB2331 on Rustbelt Radio

Joshua Glenn and Sarah Morris, from Decarcerate PA and the Youth Art and Self Empowerment Project, discuss opposition to HB2331 on Rustbelt Radio.  House Bill 2331 would create a five year mandatory minimum sentence for people with felony convictions on their record who are caught with an unregistered gun.  We believe that HB2331 and mandatory minimums in general increase the prison population, have no impact on recidivism, and do nothing to address the root cause of gun violence in our communities.  For more, check out our Letter to the Editor in the Daily News.
